Disney Fact #143

The Disney Company held a charity auction in 2004. The hot item: a chance to name a gravestone at the Haunted Mansion ride at Disneyland.

The winner was Cary Sharp. Sharp paid a cool $37,400 to become the attraction’s 1,000th ghost. I think if I had that kind of money to spend, I would use it to stay at WDW for a few months!
